Description:

Signal Sensing Technology® (SST ®) is included in all of Boston Amplifier’s
Bi-Directional Amplifiers. This Signal Sensing Technology ® (SST®) will determine if the External and Internal Antennas have enough separation.

On power up the SST® circuit monitors the separation of both antennas every 500µs (Micro Seconds). SST® will make the appropriate decision to protect the BDA and to provide the best performance on both Transmit and Receive.

SST® Protection:

It will avoid over heating.
It will not burn the unit.
It will avoid week transmit and receive signals due to the antennas not having enough separation.
It will provide visual alarm if the antenna separation is not enough.
It will self correct once the antenna separation is determine to be enough.
