Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA's) are wireless devices which work in conjunction with the BDA and the In-Vehicle Antenna. There are couple ways to install the BDA inside the vehicle.
1. Mount in cell phone cradle or mount in-vehicle antenna any where in the front area of the vehicle, where it doesn’t block the driver’s view. Example below shows the in-vehicle antenna is mounted inside the vehicle on top left hand side of the side windshield molding with Velcro.
2. Mount the External Antenna at the rear end of the vehicle as shown in figure 2. |

Selecting a Suitable Location to Mount the BDA.
Locate a suitable place to mount and conceal the BDA. Suitable mounting locations include under the vehicle’s dashboard or under the front seat. For optimal performance, the BDA should be mounted as close to the in-vehicle antenna as possible. The location should be easily accessible and free of moving parts, excessive heat, and moisture.
